About me
Mostly, I do online stuff for Channel 4 and broadcast stuff for the BBC. More specifically, I’m the Editor of Film4.com and a regular guest presenter on BBC1′s Film 2013 With Claudia Winkleman.
Also, I’m currently script editing forthcoming teen movie documentary Beyond Clueless, and am part of the team producing an online behind-the-scenes look at Ben Wheatley’s A Field In England. I’m a member of the Awards Committee for the London Critics’ Circle Film Section and have written, broadcasted or hosted for Radio 4 Women’s Hour, Radio 4′s Film Programme, Today on Radio 4, BBC Radio London, The Guardian, The Telegraph, Everyman Cinemas, the BFI, BBC3, Channel 5, Discovery and Picturehouse Cinemas.
Flatteringly, I was a finalist in the Women Of The Future awards 2010 and selected in 2012 as one of Broadcast Magazine’s Hotshots under 30. Film4.com was nominated in 2013 by Broadcast Magazine in their Best Website for a Channel awards category, along with BBC Sport, Sky News and ITV News.
Once upon a time, I was part of the Oxford Revue, the student comedy troupe that over the years has featured Michael Palin, Terry Jones, Ken Loach, Rowan Atkinson, Armando Iannucci, Rebecca Front, Richard Herring and Stewart Lee. Unlike them, I was rubbish.
My Twitter feed is over here. Come and say hello. You know, if you want to. You can also get hold of me at catherine dot bray at gmail dot com.
